I believe, that the stats say it all
The Indigenous nation of our country
Has been kept down, for far too long
Sure the PM said sorry, but really, what did that change
When the attitude, of society, remained the fucking same
Their a problem, a pest, a burden, a shame
This view from the majority, who refuse any blame
We took their land, and we stole their kids
Yet we don’t have compassion, and most don’t give a shit
And pretend it never happened

Literacy rates, are still in decline
While thousands of others are, living below the poverty line
Life expectancy, is still 10 years adrift
And the most basic of health care, doesn’t even exist
With one in twenty, headed for prison
And just as many without, high school education
an indictment in itself
We have a white culture, that doesn’t understand
That we have failed the true owners, of our homeland

Stand up, old Australians
